Well it has been a while and we had an eventful time during the lapse. We did the adoption weekend at Petco April 8th and adopted Willie and Abby that same day! That worked out pretty well although when we do Saturday events our shelter maintenance schedule gets a little wonky.

We also realized we never posted pics of the ferret room for anyone! I’ll do that on this post.

Rebel, Nipper and Trixie (All older Vegas kids) have found a really great home. They deserved it too. We’re up to a total of 36 ferrets in the shelter so far this year with 3 coming in tomorrow. Numbers sure are increasing from this time last year.

We’ve got a few new things into the shelter to sell too. A new split hammock that is not only large, but really thick and soft, and we have copies of Ferrets for Dummies too to sell.

Lastly, we’re scrambling to get things ready for this big pet expo. I have no idea how many people will be there and this is our first big event. I’m afraid our cheapie booth will look unprofessional, although I suppose it would be ok to look home-grown. We’ll post how all that pans out when we are finished.
