Just a short post! Boy have things been busy! This past weekend we adopted out 4 ferrets to three different families. Had two sick ferret help phone calls, two possible turn in phone calls, two friends we hadn’t heard from in months called, we had some donations dropped off by one of our long-time, wonderful supporters Judy, and had a wonderful visit with Linda & Terry who stopped to play with some of our ferrets and that we had a lovely dinner in town with! Whew!! The phone rang all day Saturday. We also had a slew of email. Bianca & Martin wrote to tell us one of their ferrets passed suddenly, which was a complete surprise. It is so hard when they are jumping one day and pass the next.
It must be that time of year. I will be wearing the ferret costume for Halloween this year, so that hopefully people will ask me what I am (or better yet, just know). My officemates thought it quite funny. One of these days, I’ll get the photo upload working on this blog.
