Well, it looks like our donation box that was at All Pet Complex was stolen. Nobody seems to know where it went, and I don’t have it here, so I guess I will presume it missing.  There probably wasn’t all that much money in it, but now we have to find another box and lock. Those little buggers are more money that you’d think they’d be! I’m a little bummed. We do have shelter brochures up there now. That should help.

Got everybody vaccinated tonight that needed it. Had Toby in for his vet check today. Rah gets surgery Thursday and Wally & Beaver get vet checks. That only leaves Riley’s surgery and Q-tip’s & Charlie’s vet checks left to get everybody up to par.  Charlie seems like he is on  a slow path to recovery, but he’s so up and down, it’s hard to tell.  He’s eating more now; no more force feedings, yeah! His stool is looking better, but he’s not eating enough just yet to start bulking his weight back up. It’s a slow process, especially when he starts regressing. We have to start all over again with him. I’m glad he isn’t giving up.

I’m also looking for a small first-aid kit to keep in the shelter, if anybody has an extra one or knows where to get one cheaply. We don’t need anything too big, but the thought came into my head after I stabbed my finger on accident with a used Vaccination needle.. hmmm… I know where the bandaids are in my house, but if we had a volunteer here, they sure wouldn’t. It probably helps us meet health code anyway. I’ve often thought we should have a fire extinguisher around up there too.  My stray thoughts….
