I wanted to let everyone know why I suddenly left last week, partly to make excuses if I haven’t written and partly to help me deal with things. My father passed away suddenly Tuesday and I had to fly to NY Wednesday morning. Bill and Sandon have been doing a great job taking care of the shelter and everything else alone, plus we’ve had 6 ferrets come in while I’ve been gone. I’m so glad Bill is so invested in the shelter, it really is a partnership even if he sometimes doesn’t feel like it is. Without Bill the shelter wouldn’t exist.

I should be home and online Wednesday after work hours. I miss everybody, Bill, Sandon, ferrets, and the other critters. Thanks to everyone who has always been so supportive of the shelter.

Thanks specifically to Cathy too for taking care of the boards so Bill can chase the crazy baby around the house.

I just want to thank everyone for understanding my AWOL and for support.
