[ Before You Adopt ] [ For Sale ]

All ferrets coming into the shelter spend a minimum of one week in quarantine and in that time are tested for ADV and monitored for contagious diseases. We do everything we can to bring them into the healthiest condition possible before we try finding them a new home. It is rare that we receive a ferret that is current with vaccinations and most do not have any veterinary history. Here, each ferret is given a checkup by a veterinarian that specializes in ferrets-- ferrets under 4 will receive a voucher for a free vet check (good for 15 days after adoption) and any medically challenged or older ferrets will be taken into the vet before adoption-- and we screen them for other common problems that are more difficult to detect. We also 'temperment test' each ferret so we understand their personalities and can help find a ferret that will fit perfectly with your family.
