Nakita came into the shelter basically because her owners knew that something was wrong with her but couldn't afford to have it looked into. Initially we weren't sure if she was going to make it because she was having a hard time walking, had diahrea, and intestinal pain. We were plesantly surprised at how well she was doing after only a week on antibiotics and our high-protein diet. She's now quite healthy and enjoying life living with her new friends, Callie, Jack, and Wiley.

Adoption Fees

Ferrets under 4 1/2 years old

$75 for the first ferret
$65 for the second
$55 for the third or more

Ferrets over 4 1/2 years old - $50

Ferrets over 5 1/2 years old - $40

Special reduced fees for those that need medication or are terminal

Vet Check-Up
Canine Distemper Vaccination
AVID Microchip
ADV test
Ear Mite treatment
Any necessary surgeries

Learn everything you can about ferrets
Fill out our form
We'll write you an email back or call you on the phone
If you already have ferrets, work with us to have them ADV tested (You don't have to do it yourself)
Get your cage and accessories ready. We always have a good selection of things for sale.
Schedule a time with us to visit the shelter — at least a day or two in advance please. :) Bring a sturdy cat carrier.
